New PRC Building to Rise in Pasay City

20 May 2019 – The Professional Regulation Commission and the Department
of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) together with the Professional
Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and representatives from the CAVDEAL – Cavite
Ideal International Construction & Development Corporation and the
Enrique O. Olonan and Associates led the ceremonial ground breaking for
the construction of the new PRC Building in Pasay City on 20 May 2019.
“This ground breaking ceremony marks the commencement of the
construction of future landmark of the Filipino professionals”, PRC
Chairman Teofilo S. Pilando, Jr. cited in his message.
The project is envisioned to facilitate the regulation of various
professionals and will be the center for Continuing Professional
Development and professional licensure examinations. It is designed to
accommodate the fast growing number of professionals and the expanding
regulatory activities of the Commission and PRBs.
The project consists of: (i) an 11-storey structure for the
Commission’s executive offices; (ii) an 8-storey structure for
examination centers, facilities and multi-functional rooms for
conventions and meetings; and (iii) a 3-storey structure for hearing
rooms, food court and roof garden. It is located at Phase 1, Super Block
A, Central Business Park Island-A, Pasay City.
The PRC is appreciative of its partnership with the DPWH led by
Secretary Mark A. Villar, towards the realization of the said project.
Upon the completion of the new building, services to professionals will
be greatly improved.
