New PRC Building to Rise in Pasay City
Manila, 20 May 2019 – The Professional Regulation Commission and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) together with the Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and representatives from the CAVDEAL – Cavite Ideal International Construction & Development Corporation and the Enrique O. Olonan and Associates led the ceremonial ground breaking for the construction of the new PRC Building in Pasay City on 20 May 2019.

“This ground breaking ceremony marks the commencement of the construction of future landmark of the Filipino professionals”, PRC Chairman Teofilo S. Pilando, Jr. cited in his message.

The project is envisioned to facilitate the regulation of various professionals and will be the center for Continuing Professional Development and professional licensure examinations. It is designed to accommodate the fast growing number of professionals and the expanding regulatory activities of the Commission and PRBs.

The project consists of: (i) an 11-storey structure for the Commission’s executive offices; (ii) an 8-storey structure for examination centers, facilities and multi-functional rooms for conventions and meetings; and (iii) a 3-storey structure for hearing rooms, food court and roof garden. It is located at Phase 1, Super Block A, Central Business Park Island-A, Pasay City.

The PRC is appreciative of its partnership with the DPWH led by Secretary Mark A. Villar, towards the realization of the said project. Upon the completion of the new building, services to professionals will be greatly improved.

PRC Establishes Off-Site Service Centers Nationwide
As the Professional Regulation Commission continuously sustain its commitment to ensure timely delivery of its frontline services to the clients, the Commission ceaselessly extends its services through the establishment of PRC Off-site Service Centers nationwide.

To date, the Commission has established twenty-one (21) off-site service centers, four (4) OSSCOs and satellite offices nationwide. The 21 off -site Service Centers are located in Robinsons Place Manila, Galleria, Novaliches, Las Piñas, Ilocos, Pangasinan, Santiago, Starmills, Sta. Rosa, Dasmariñas, Palawan, Naga, Iloilo, Bacolod, Galleria Cebu, Dumaguete, Ormoc, Iligan, Tagum, General Santos, and Butuan while OSSCOs are located in POEA Ortigas, Palayan, Nueva Ecija, Clark, Pampanga and Davao. Satellite offices are likewise established in PICC and Zamboanga.

The services available in the said off-site service centers include the application for licensure examination, renewal of Professional Identification Card (PIC), issuance of duplicate PIC, certification and authentication of  Certificate of Registration, PIC, Board Passing, and Board Rating, change of status/name and stateboard verification.

These off-site service centers are under the supervision of the PRC Regional Office covering the area.

This project is in line with the Commission’s collaboration agreement with the Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) which also aims to provide convenience to the transacting public by bringing its services closer to them.
