The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the 7-digit telephone numbers of PRC Metro Manila offices will be changed to an 8-digit telephone numbers, as follows, effective 6 October 2019:
- Add “8” at the beginning – for telephone numbers starting with 8, 7, 6, 5 and 2
- Add “5” at the beginning – for telephone numbers starting with 3
This is in compliance with the National Telecommunications Commission Memorandum Order No. 10-10-2017, directing all telecom providers within the area code “02” to migrate the existing 7-digit telephone numbers to an 8-digit telephone numbers.
