The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) advises the general public that the PRC Online Services will be temporarily unavailable on October 31 to November 3, 2019 due to a scheduled systems upgrade.
The Commission assures the public however, that the Online Services will be up and operational as scheduled or earlier once the systems upgrade is completed.

Migration of the 7-Digit Telephone Numbers to 8-Digit Telephone Numbers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the 7-digit telephone numbers of PRC Metro Manila offices will be changed to an 8-digit telephone numbers, as follows, effective 6 October 2019:
  • Add “8” at the beginning – for telephone numbers starting with 8, 7, 6, 5 and 2
  • Add “5” at the beginning – for telephone numbers starting with 3
This is in compliance with the National Telecommunications Commission Memorandum Order No. 10-10-2017, directing all telecom providers within the area code “02” to migrate the existing 7-digit telephone numbers to an 8-digit telephone numbers.

New Content, Format, And Layout of the Professional Identification Card

The Professional Regulation Commission informs the public of the new content, format, and layout of the Professional Identification Card (PIC), effective September 2019.
This is in consonance with the policy of government to promote ease of doing business by simplifying the documentary forms and processes which include the PIC, and in compliance with the requirements of Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
For guidance, attached is the new PIC design.
